Welcome to Imperia!

The Officine Mattio Winter Camp kicks off with the perfect mix of cycling, training, shared experiences and relaxation.

Our first ride will take us along the beautiful roads of the Ligurian Riviera and its hinterland, featuring climbs, constant changes of pace and spectacular views over the Ligurian Sea.

The highlight of the day will be the ride through Cipressa, one of the iconic climbs of Milano-Sanremo. A legendary ascent surrounded by olive groves and breathtaking sea views, where every pedal stroke brings back the excitement of the Spring Classic.

It’s the perfect way to warm up our legs, find our rhythm and start sharing kilometres and smiles.

The Winter Camp has officially begun: four days of cycling, passion and fun together!

• 11:00 AM: Arrival and check-in at the hotel
• From 12:00 PM: Bike fit and light lunch
• 12:45 PM: Meet-up for the ride
• 1:00 PM: Ride departure
• 5:30 PM: Return to the hotel
• 6:00–8:00 PM: Relaxation and sports massages
• 7:00 PM: Welcome aperitif
• 8:00 PM: Buffet dinner

We’ll ride along the stunning Ligurian Riviera, passing through Diano Marina, Cervo, Andora and Laigueglia, before tackling Capo Mele, one of the iconic sections of Milano-Sanremo.

From Alassio, we’ll begin the long climb towards Testico, surrounded by lush greenery, until we reach Passo del Ginestro (680 m). A beautiful descent will take us through Cesio, Chiusanico and Pontedassio, before tackling the final rolling hills between Vasia and Pantasina, surrounded by Liguria’s characteristic olive groves.

The final descent from Dolcedo will bring us back to Villa Giada for some well-deserved relaxation.

A full and rewarding day in the saddle, featuring challenging climbs, spectacular views and plenty of kilometres to enjoy together!

Today, we’ll take on the longest stage of the Winter Camp, a challenging and spectacular route that brings together the two sides of Liguria: sea and mountains.

We’ll start along the stunning Riviera dei Fiori, passing through Sanremo, Ospedaletti and Bordighera, before leaving the coast behind and heading into the Val Nervia, through the charming villages of Dolceacqua, Isolabona and Apricale.

From here, we’ll begin the long climb towards Bajardo and Passo Ghimbegna, reaching the highest point of the day at over 1,000 metres, in the direction of Monte Ceppo.

An incredible day of cycling, featuring challenging climbs, breathtaking views and plenty of kilometres to share together!

The final day of the Winter Camp will take us through the beautiful Ligurian hinterland, with a scenic and challenging ride to bring this unforgettable experience to a perfect close.

After the first few kilometres along the Riviera, we’ll head into the Valle Argentina, passing through Taggia, Badalucco and Montalto Ligure, before tackling the long climb to Colle d’Oggia (1,162 m), the highest point of the day.

The descent towards Borgomaro and the final rolling hills through Lucinasco, Pantasina, Vasia and Dolcedo will lead us back to Villa Giada.

Our last kilometres together, followed by lunch and final goodbyes, taking home unforgettable memories of four days filled with cycling, training and fun!
